Happy Holidays with A Foodie’s Harmony!

First of all this is my first ever POST on this blog – I am so excited! I’ve been wanting to start this for quite some time and I finally pulled the trigger. Nothing like procrastinating like the end of the year! Or am I getting ahead of my 2019 goals 😉 ? Anyhow WELCOME to my blog!!

This post is mostly welcoming myself and you to this blog 🙂 This blog is built to encourage people to find balance in their every day lives. When I mean balance, it means finding ways to lift each other up when we’re down, working out when we feel like it, sleeping because your body says so, eating that piece of cake because it makes you happy. I am no expert but I want to share my journey with others so that we can all relate to each other. Balance can mean so many things, and hopefully my approach can help you!

This brings me to my next point; the holiday season (uhh how is it already NYE 2018?!) This is THE season when we overload ourselves with all things food. How do we find harmony between trying to be “healthy” whilst diving into a chocolate ganache cake head first? If you know me, I am serial holiday baker and even more; holiday cookie, brownie, pie and cake-eater. Honestly there is no relevant time like now to start this blog because this is the season where it’s hard to find that balance between feeling good about yourself and eating whatever you want. The truth is, the holidays aren’t about watching what you eat or how you look. It’s ONLY about love and family (and of course can’t leave out good food)! It doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your cookie(s), let’s embrace the holiday season! It’s spent with the people you love. Whether it’s your mom, best friend or dog (pets are family!!), the holidays are meant to be spent together. So you enjoy that dessert that you made or that Costco pie or that chocolate bundt cake. You have no reason to feel guilty – when you’re ready, let’s pick back up on that workout and drink some booch (or whatever).

Lastly, give yourself the gift of love. You’ve conquered 2018, about to embark the 2019 journey. I don’t know many of you since starting this blog but I look forward to learning about you and how we can help each other continue to strive for a harmonious life while enjoying our cookies!! Enjoy the season and end it with a bang!

Much much love and thanks for visiting!

Love this and love YOU even more!
This blog did exactly what you intended-put a smile on my face.
You are absolutely right. The holidays aren’t about the presents, watching what you eat, worrying about unnecessary things, etc.- its about coming together with family and friends and spending that time to spread the love to one another.
“Life is too short. Wear the heals. Eat the cake.” (Or in my case wear the sandals eat the cake lol)

Love you my Rinerz! #Rinerzbakery
